PFF Calls for Comprehensive Review of School Educational Tours Policy

The People’s Front for Freedom (PFF) has welcomed the suspension of school educational tours but is urging the Ministry of Education to review the entire policy.

PFF Deputy President Lulume Bayiga accused some schools of turning educational trips into expensive commercial ventures that burden parents with excessive costs.

He argued that the practice disadvantages learners from low-income families and proposed documentaries, audiovisual materials, and recorded field visits as affordable alternatives that would provide equal learning opportunities.
