Weasel Makes Public Apology to Zawedde for Offensive Rage
Singer Jose Chameleone’s young brother Douglas Mayanja aka Weasel has made a public apology saying he wasn’t in good spirits when he claimed that he had gotten tired of taking care of his sick brother.
In a recorded video, Weasel asked Jose Chameleone’s American care taker and friend Juliet Zawedde for forgiveness about the incident where he was demanding that he be flown back to Uganda immediately.
He said the incident where he was recorded demanding to come back to Uganda was recorded when he was under a lot of pressure.
The incident in question was recorded a few days ago when Weasel was kicked out of Zawedde’s house in Boston for failing to abide by the house regulations. Zawedde threw weasel out of her home because she was tired of his behaviour especially bringing women into her house without her approval.
Weasel then throws an abusive tantrum demanding to return to Uganda claiming he has no peace at her home in the US.
In the latest apology video he is seen seated beside Juliet Zawedde who is busy shuffling through some papers while ignoring the camera.
Weasel says in the video which he recorded in Luganda, “Sabadde mu mbeera ntuufu, Weekend yabdde mpanvu.” indirectly meaning that he was not sober after a long night of partying and drinking.
He further asked Zawedde to forgive him and promised to be disciplined until he leaves her home, he also apologised to her entire family for the disturbance and embarrassment he caused.
“ Iam very sorry. I never wanted to leave USA in a bad way because you are my sister, my mother and my friend and we thank you so much for taking care of us and for all you have done since we came here from Uganda,” he added.
Weasel’s friends and family advised him to apologize because he risked deportation if the matter had been reported to Police.
Meanwhile Jose Chameleone said that he is happy that weasel made the apology because negativity is not the solution to such situations and thanked Juliet Zawedde for hosting them at her home as he gets the required treatment he needs for him to recover from his health complications.
“ Through this, I have learnt that health and friendship is paramount and thank you so much Juliet for everything you have done for us,” he added.
