Fik Gaza Awaiting Arraignment on Aggravated Robbery Charges

Local dance hall artiste Fik Gaza will be charged with aggravated robbery following reports he is one of the gang leaders that commands youth to steal property from Makindye Division in Kampala.

Gaza was arrested by Katwe police officers on Thursday 3^rd, April,2025 and was found in possession of exhibits that included an army look like attire, Pangas, hammers and Knives.

He was arrested with four other suspects that included Magoola Najibu, Mutuba David (alias Mavin Gaza), and Zziwa Charles (alias Mzungu).

Police spokesperson for Kampala and the metropolitan region Patrick Onyango confirmed his arrested and said the singer will be arraigned in court as soon as possible because they have gathered enough evidence which will be used to prosecute him in courts of law.

He also said that Fik Gaza is being investigated for harboring Zziwa Charles, a high profile criminal who escaped from police custody while being held on a murder charge.

The arrests were made after a series of robberies in Makindye Division, a Kampala which is believed to be a hub for criminals because of the many slums and informal settlements in the area.
