Sheeba Karungi has brought to an end her maternity leave that stretched for five months.
In November,2024, Sheeba travelled to Canada to prepare for the birth of her child and also take maternity leave following a busy and hectic year where she held a successful concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval grounds
The singer was seen saying bidding farewell to her Canadian friends and family before boarding a plane back to Uganda with her baby who she named Amir
She said the five months of maternity leave were amazing as as a mother.
“ Canada, you have been amazing to me. Even in the middle of snow storms, we were happy to call you home. This is my first time traveling as a mom and am beyond blessed to have the best little travel buddy for life,” she said.
She said her son loved his very first flight and is prepared to battle the dust and sunshine back home in Uganda
She ended her post by congratulating all women on the international women’s day by calling them heroes and super heroes of the world.
Sheebah’s talent and hard work have earned her numerous awards and nominations throughout her career. She continues to collaborate with renowned artists and expand her musical horizons.
