Kenzo Over the Moon following Huge Win by Wife Nyamutooro in NRM Primary

Singer Eddy Kenzo has congratulated wife Phiona Nyamutooro for the big win she scored in the NRM Party primaries that took place on Thursday 17th, June,2026.

He said the big win that the state minister for minerals got during the vote is a sign that she is a good leader and thanks everyone for the support towards her political career.

“Nebbi has spoken because Nyamutooro got scored 90% against her competitors and I believe that you chose the right person,” he said.

According to the final results, Nyamutooro scored 90% to become the NRM flag bearer for the district woman MP Nebbi district race in the 2026 general elections.

She said the win is vital for her and her supporters and shecannot wait for the general campaigns to start.

“We made history with the highest number of votes ever registered by any candidate in the history of Nebbi Polls. We shall work tirelessly to ensure your trust yields fruits and am grateful to everyone for the overwhelming love and support,” she said.

Nyamutooro came into the light in 2021 general elections when she was voted to parliament as a member of parliament representing the youth (Female).
