Old Mutual Uganda has launched “Thrive by Old Mutual”, a wellness application designed to help users improve their physical, financial, and mental wellbeing.
Thrive App brings together wellness resources, practical information and tools in one digital platform, allowing users to track their wellbeing and take part in activities and challenges aimed at building healthier habits.
Speaking at the launch today at Motiv bugolobi, Old Mutual Investment Group Uganda Managing Director Zac Kisesi said financial wellness is an important part of overall wellbeing.
“Financial wellbeing is not simply about how much money a person earns; it is about the confidence to make informed decisions, plan for the future and steadily work towards the life you want.”
Kisesi said Thrive will make financial wellness more accessible by helping users build better financial habits and work towards their goals.
Old Mutual Life Assurance Uganda Managing Director Patrick Kimathi said the platform encourages users to take a long-term approach to their wellbeing.
“A secure future is shaped by the decisions we make every day, how we look after our health, how we manage our finances and how intentionally we plan for tomorrow.”
The application also offers fitness sessions and challenges, financial and mental wellness conversations, meditation, yoga, relaxation experiences and nutrition support.
Users can also earn benefits and vouchers from selected partners by completing wellness challenges through the app.
Thrive is available for free download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
