Artiste Jose Chameleone landed in Nairobi, Kenya on Easter Monday as a result of a need for an urgent medical check up.
According to reports from Kenyan online media, Chameleone said he went to Nairobi for a routine medical check up because of his health situation which requires routine medical examinations.
“ I’m here in Nairobi for routine medical check up because doctors in US told me to do it occasionally,” he said.
His trip to Kenya explains why Chameleone never performed at any event during the busy Easter festive season.
Upon his return from the US, Chameleone held a thanksgiving service at Lweza Catholic church on Entebbe where he invited friends and friends to thank God for surviving the sickness.
Chameleone said he never thought that we would come back alive because his health situation had drastically deteriorated.
“ It’s a miracle to come back alive to Uganda because I thought my death was near as I couldn’t even walk. I thank everyone for praying for me,” he added.
The prayers were attended by his family and relatives that included his mother, father and singers Pallaso, Weasel, his fans and the media.
He has however said he is going to hold a concert in August, 2025 with the help of music promoter and organizer Abitex Musinguzi of Abitex Promotions
