Nigerian Stars Patience Ozokwo and Kanayo O Konayo Jet in for Ikon awards

Nolly wood film stars Patience Ozokwo and Konayo O Konayo have arrived in Uganda for the 2025 edition of the Ikon awards that will take place at Kampala Serena Hotel on Saturday 29^th, March,2025.

They arrived at Entebbe International airport on Friday 28^th, March,2025 and were received by the organizers of the awards that included film producer Humphrey Nabimanya, who is also founder of the awards ceremony.

Speaking on her social media handles before her arrival in Uganda, Patience Ozokwo said she was excited and happy to be invited to be part of the 3^rd edition of the Ikon awards ceremony.

“am coming to Uganda and I would like meet all my fans one on one when I come there because I would like to share my some joy and fun with you all,” she said.

This is not the first time the two have been in Uganda because they have been coming to the country for different projects associated with film.

The first person to arrive in Uganda was Ramsey Nouah, an occasional visitor to Uganda and he arrived in Kampala on Wednesday 26^th, March,2025.
