Ugandan music star Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone received a heroes welcomes in Tanzania where he is on a visit with his team members for a short business trip
On Thursday 8th, May,2025 Chameleone traveled to Dar es Salaam with Leone Island Team member back up singer Melody and Fik Gaza’s son known as Cool Boy
On arrival at Dar es Salaam International airport, he was received and welcomed by Bongo Flava music legend and rapper turned politician, Professor Jay and Ferooz, a long time friend of Chameleone’s.
Chameleone said he is in Tanzania to reconnect with his friends and his fans and to thank them for praying for his recovery from an illness that almost claimed his life in December,2024.
“ We have been lifted by the grace of God, our health has returned, and our spirits have restored. Our recovery is not just a personal victory but a testimony to the power of faith and the importance of mutual support, God is good,” he said.
The Tanzanian trip came after his two weeks tour to Nairobi, Kenya where he did a media tour and also held a performance in one of the clubs in Nairobi as tries to reconnect with his East African audience ahead of his Kampala concert scheduled for 1st, August,2025.
On July 9th, 2025, Chameleone will perform in South Sudan in Yambio, the capital of Western Equatorial State during the country’s Independence Day celebrations
