The Uganda Police Force has reiterated its commitment to upholding order and discipline in advance of the scheduled march to parliament tomorrow.
On monday last week, the police issued a warning to individuals using social media to mobilize supporters, urging them to refrain from engaging in potentially disruptive activities. Subsequently, organizers asserted their authority over the planned march.
Kituuma Rusoke, spokesperson for the Uganda Police Force, emphasized the organization’s dedication to preserving law and order and expressed their intolerance of disorderly conduct.
While acknowledging individual rights, Rusoke underscored the police’s obligation to ensure public safety and security.
