City broker and property dealer Hajji Kamoga Muhammad has withdrawn a defamation suit against local DJ Suuna Ben.
In a recent notice to sue, Kamoga had threatened to take Suuna Ben to court for saying that Kamoga is not a trustworthy property broker and property manager.
Since July 2024, Suuna Ben has been alleging that Kamoga connived with an estranged girlfriend of his, Nambwayo Mary, to include her as a co-owner of a plot of land purchased by Suuna Ben located in Garuga in Entebbe Municipality
Kamoga said the statements by Suuna that he made on radios, Televisions and social media had ruined his reputation, he wanted Suuna Ben to apologize to him or else be dragged to court for defamation
Additionally, he wanted Suuna to compensate him with sh. 900M as seen in the intention to sue letter issued by Kamoga’s lawyers of Kusingira Tindyebwa and company advocates.
On Wednesday 5th, March,2025, Kamoga announced that he had withdrawn the case after conceding to make Suuna Ben the sole owner of the plot on which his house is being built in Garuga, Entebbe.
He made the announcement during a meeting in the presence of both Mary Nambwayo and Suuna Ben. Suuna said that he was delighted that his demands were met by the property broker.
“ I now have no case against Hajji Kamoga and am happy that he has sorted out my issue and I will not complain about him anymore as he has agreed to give me a new land title where my house is located,” he said.
