Former Miss Uganda Hannah Karema Tumukunde has launched a foundation that she said will be used as a platform to uplift communities through different charitable activities and causes
She launched the organization at Sheraton ballroom on friday 07th,February,2025 and the event was attended by many women that share the same vision with her like spice diana, Dr.Miria Matembe, Lydia Jasmine among others
She said the foundation aims to provide support by looking for resources and for opportunities for those in need and stressed that this is the only way she will impact the different communities as a model and a beauty queen
“ Thank you so much to the amazing people that came together to support my dream and I hope that we shall be working and collaborating to see that the foundation fulfills its aims and objectives” she said
Hannah’s journey from humble beginnings to the spotlight of Miss Uganda exemplifies the transformative power of education and the ability of one individual to challenge and change societal norms.
Hannah Karema’s story becomes a source of inspiration, serving as a reminder that no dream is too ambitious, no hurdle too high, when fueled by the fire of resilience and the pursuit of knowledge.
She was miss Uganda in the 2023-2024 season and also represented Uganda at the miss world competition where she emerged as the first runner up for the miss world Africa Pageant and also finished in the top eight in the miss world contest of 2024
