US Lady Accuses Singer Royal Jeff of Conning Several Victims in Internet Scam

A South Carorlina based woman known only by her first name Paula has accused singer Royal Jeff of stealing millions of shillings from her using a fake charitable organization based in Mityana district.

Paula said that she met Jeff (real name Ssemanda Timothy)  in 2023, when he was living in Mityana and during the first six months of knowing him, Jeff claimed he was involved in raising money for an orphanage which later turned out to be fake.

She claims Royal Jeff kept telling people that he had 20 orphans that he was taking care of.

“I was Moved by the story and it’s the reason why I sent money to him through a friend of mine called Isaac, to help him care for the children in his charge,” she said in a social media video.

Before sending him money, Royal Jeff told Paula about how he lived in the ghettos and on the streets and was in need of buying an orphanage for the 20 children that he claimed to be taking care of.

“He told me to send him $6000 ( Ugx. 21,000,000 million)  because he was tired of renting for the said children that he was taking care of. On top of sending the money, I also bought double deckers for the children,” she said.

Later when she decided to visit Uganda to see the children, Royal Jeff reportedly showed her documents of the said purchase of the orphanage and the certification stating that he was the owner, which she claims were fake. 

“It turns out he was never an orphan in the first place, and his mother owned the structure.” She laments. She further states that in order to sell her the lie, he had claimed that his mother, Janet, was his aunt.

 “He not only scammed me but the people that gave him money. This is why Americans do not want to give money to African countries like Uganda. It is people like Timothy that hurt the Ugandan children,” she said.

She vowed to keep exposing Royal Jeff and has promised to post numerous videos about the scam.

She promised to release the next video talking about how Royal Jeff moved to Kampala, pursued his music career, and continued to scam people on the internet.

Royal Jeff is known for his lavish lifestyle and one of them includes driving a latest version of Range Rover Sport with personalized Number plates in the names of Royal Jeff but no one knows his source of income apart from claiming that he is a recording artiste
