Urban Lyfe Productions to Host Grand World Music Day Celebration at Serena Hotel

Urban Lyfe Productions is set to host one of Uganda’s most anticipated music events of the year as they present World Music Day 2025, scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 21st at the prestigious Serena Hotel Kampala.

World Music Day, celebrated globally every year on June 21st, is a tribute to the power of music in uniting cultures, voices, and generations. This year, Urban Lyfe Productions is raising the bar by curating a spectacular evening filled with live performances from some of Uganda’s most iconic and emerging music stars.

Headlining the event will be the soulful Elijah Kitaka, whose genre-bending sound has won hearts across the country. Also taking the stage is Winnie Nwagi, one of Uganda’s most dynamic performers known for her high-energy shows and fan-favorite hits. Music legend Shanks Vivi D, a household name in Uganda’s music scene, will also grace the stage, bringing a nostalgic and vibrant element to the night.

The lineup will further include a diverse range of artists representing different sounds and styles, making it a truly global celebration of music in the heart of Kampala.
