Stanbic Bank and World Vision Deliver Lifesaving Medical Boost to Mayuge Mothers and Newborns

In a powerful stride toward transforming maternal and neonatal healthcare, Stanbic Bank Uganda and World Vision Uganda have joined forces to bridge critical gaps in medical services at Kigandalo Health Centre IV, Mayuge District.

On July 4th, the organizations unveiled a UGX 20 million donation in essential equipment including ultrasound scan machines and glucometers designed to elevate care for expectant mothers and newborns. This comes as part of their Safe Motherhood partnership, championing health equity for underserved communities.

The impact is immediate and profound. The donated tools pave the way for:
– A functional neonatal unit at Kigandalo Health Centre.
– Upgrades to the theatre and labour suite.
– Improved safety and dignity with disability-friendly delivery beds and enhanced water reliability.
