Orezi Advises Ugandan artistes to Target International market

Nigerian dance hall artiste Orezi has told Ugandan artistes to target the international market if they want to earn more money from their music.

Orezi, who arrived in Uganda for a show at Catwalk Lounge on friday 11^th, April,2025 said that international market is where most Nigerian artistes get their money from

“ Our artistes in Nigeria rarely perform for the ordinary people of our country because they get more money from international gigs and events and secondly, they are more expensive to hire,” he said this while appearing on a local television on Thursday 10^th, April,2025.

Orezi became popular in Uganda when he featured the Sweet sensation song remix with Sheeba Karungi and its the reason why he has a huge fan base in Kampala and East Africa.

“ I love dance hall music and Uganda has a strong dance hall market. Every time I release a dance hall track it performs much better than Afro beats,” he said.

He revealed that Uganda, isreal, Ethiopia and Kenya are his favorite countries because its where his music is streamed most.
