Singer Alien Skin has been contracted by the Democratic Front Party as a mobilizer for the 2026 general elections.
The singer was officially unveiled by the party president Mathias Mpuuga at an event that took place at their office in Kampala on Monday 23rd, June, 2025.
The Party sees Alien Skin as a person who has a big following among youth in Buganda hence the decision to sign him on as a mobilizer.
In January, 2025, Mpuuga signed a memorandum of understanding with the singer and one of the things they agreed upon was to work together in the upcoming general election.
He said their collaboration with Alien Skin was for the betterment of Uganda’s social, economic and political rights because his party has come to champion these rights through the general elections where they expect to get leaders at various levels of government from LC1 to Parliamentary level
Mpuuga said the party will not sideline people like Alien Skin despite him having been involved in a lot of controversies, he said that the singer is one of those upcoming artistes that have capacity to mobilize Ugandans in elections because he is loved and followed by many Ghetto Youth.
The singer was recently summoned by the Uganda Police Force (Katwe,Makindye division) for being involved in domestic violence with one of his wives whom he allegedly kicked out of their Makindye based home.
