Maro Jets Back Following Recovery from Horrific Car Crash Injuries

Ugandan R&B singer and songwriter Ronald Magada aka Maro has come back to Uganda after recovering from injuries and trauma he sustained during a terrible car accident he was involved in while on holiday in Zambia in April, 2025.

It was reported that the singer had gone into a coma after the accident that took place while driving to a certain location in Zambia.

In a social media Interview on 22^nd, May, 2025, Maro said that he had safety returned to Uganda after recovering from the incident that had  almost claimed his life and his daughter’s as well as a female Zambian friend who was traveling with them in the car, which he was driving.

“ We were three people in the car, me, the driver, my daughter and a female Zambian colleague of mine, who is also a friend of my wife. Luckily enough, when the accident happened, they were seated behind and were having seatbelts on otherwise they would have died on spot when the car overturned as I was driving them,” he said.

He blamed the accident on the mechanical condition of the car because it failed to break, he said he takes personal blame for the accident

“ I personally take the blame for the accident because I was the one driving the car, if I had carefully checked and investigated the car before driving it on high speed, the accident wouldn’t have happened,” he revealed.

He added that the Zambian female colleague of his got some fractures and injuries and is in a wheelchair. he believes that she will  get better with time after getting the right therapy and treatment, he thanks everyone that prayed for him to overcome the situation.

According to the photos that were shared on social media after the accident, the car was a complete wreck as it was believed at the time that he had died with all the occupants of the car.
