Koffi Olomidde Coming to Kampala for Afrigo Anniversary Concert
Congolese music legend Koffi Olomidde has confirmed that he will be coming to Kampala for the Afrigo Band concert that will be taking place on 16th, August,2025 at Millenium Grounds,Lugogo.
The news of his coming was announced by Afrigo Band members at a press conference that was held at Sheraton Hotel in Kampala on Wednesday, 2nd, July, 2025.
The Band members believe that Koffi Olomidde’s appearance for their 50th anniversary concert will attract a bigger crowd especially revellers that love the Congolese singer’s performances
The concert will be organized by Talent Africa Group a Ugandan entertainment and events company that is headed by Ali Allibhai
This year’s celebration honors the unrivaled legacy of Afrigo Band, Uganda’s longest standing and most beloved musical ensemble and the event will feature an all-star lineup of Afrigo veterans including Moses Matovu, Rachel Magoola, Joanita Kawalya, Herbert Kigundu, Sarah Namulondo, Charles Busuulwa, and other local artistes that have been part of their 50 year old journey
