A highly anticipated music concert featuring popular musician King Saha, initially halted by the Uganda Police Force, has been cleared to proceed with certain restrictions.
According to Police Spokesperson Rusoke Kituuma, the concert, organized by Umoja Management LTD and scheduled to take place at the Cricket Oval in Lugogo, was halted on January 23, 2025, due to safety concerns.
However, following a meeting between the event organizers, venue managers, and a joint security team, it was agreed that the concert could continue as scheduled, albeit with certain restrictions.
Notably, the use of the pavilion has been strictly prohibited due to its structural condition, which poses a risk to revelers, Kituuma said.
The concert is expected to take place at the Cricket Oval, and organizers have assured that all necessary safety measures will be in place to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for attendees.
