Child star Fresh Kid is set to visit South Africa for one week.
The teen rapper who has only just joined secondary school is benefiting from a sponsorship by former minister for youth and children Hon Nakiwala Kiyingi and Hannah International School, Uganda.
He will be traveling to South Africa on Monday 24th, March, 2025 and will make several stops including Johannesburg and Pretoria as well as National Parks and other historical and cultural sites.
According to Kiyingi, the trip will help the youngster get exposure and will also help make diverse connections.
“ We arranged this trip to make sure that he gets time to travel and see the other side of the world as he has not been traveling as he has been a minor in Primary school. Now that he is a teen, let him start enjoying such trips as it will help him boost his confidence as a student of Hannah International School,” She said.
His father Fresh Daddy was delighted for the opportunity and thanked the former minister for the sponsorship
“Thank you madam Nakiwala Kiyingi for whatever you have done for Fresh Kid. I also thank you for enabling me travel with him because this will be my second time boarding an aeroplane,” he said.
Fresh Kid thanked the former minister and all his sponsors for arranging this trip and said that he is excited to be traveling to the south African country.
Fresh Kid will be received by officials from the Ugandan Embassy in South Africa and will also meet South African socialite and reality TV star Zari Hassan and will spend some time with her and her family.
