Bebe Cool Swears Never to Work with Muhangi

Local Musician Bebe Cool (Moses Ssali) has spoken out on the incident where he failed to perform at a recent Comedy Store show.

Bebe Cool, the Gagamel International artiste and CEO says there’s no way he was going to perform at a show without the promoters fulfilling their promise of meeting his terms and conditions, he said that he will not do any free shows at the event which has its home at Roza Dymz Lounge in Kololo

“ I have sacrificed a lot for that event and its Promoter Alex Muhangi but he has failed to appreciate me for that . If he feels that he doesn’t want to work with me again, Its okay and I wish him luck and I don’t think we shall work together again,” he said in a Tik Tok live video where he was being interviewed by media Personality Crystal panda and Singer Bruno K.

Early this week, Bebe Cool’s management said that their boss didn’t show up at the Comedy store event of Wednesday 19th, February, 2026 because Muhangi hadn’t paid him his full amount, a situation which forced him to drive back to his home.

The situation left Muhangi distraught, he broke down during the same TikTok interview hosted by Panda and said that he never expected Bebe Cool to treat him like that because they have been business partners for a long period of time.

‘ Comedy store has paid Bebe Cool over sh. 100 million since I started it and Bebe Cool is one of the artistes that has performed on this platform most,” he said.

He said Bebe Cool is his personal friend and a neighbor because they stay in the same area in Kiwatule and there was no reason he was going to cheat him even if Bebe Cool had performed without being paid the full amount.
