Singer Bebe Cool has said that he intends to invest a billion shillings in producing and promoting his upcoming music album.
He said the Break the chains Album title name meant that he had to try out something new which he has never done before and this calls for a bigger investment which is likely to be a billion shillings.
He said most of the songs have been produced and mastered by international music producers and the budget he gave to producer Bushingtone justifies the amount he intends to invest .
“ This idea of an international music album came from Bushingtone. He is a very skilled producer and talent manager. I agreed to give him a budget of billion to make this album a success,” he said in a recent television interview where he talked about the state of the music industry in Uganda and in Africa.
He said the big budget will enable him to travel world wide to premier the album and also shoot music videos and promos for some of the songs on the album which will be out in late March,2025.
“ I have organized an album listening party in London where I will meet with my producers, fans and other music stakeholders and am optimistic that this project will bring results in the long run,” he said.
He said most of the songs are in English and have been produced in afro fusion style because afro beats are now trending world wide because of the influence of the Nigerian Community in the diaspora.
