A 22 year old security guard, Webisa Marvin has been charged and remanded to Luzira prison for the alleged 4th February rape, murder and aggrevated robbery of Tik-tok content creator Diana Namulinde alias Diana SkyZ.
Webisa is attached to Gibeon Security system and was in charge of security at a complex / apartment in Kyanja -kwata Zone.
Prosecution states that on the fateful day, at Kyanja -Kwata Zone in Kampala, Webisa had carnal knowledge of Namulinde without her consent, unlawfully killed her and thereafter stole her belongings including, phones, shoes, clothes and bags all valued at morethan 18million shillings.
Namulinde’s body was recovered at her appartment and immediately the police arrested and questioned Webisa after the alleged stolen items were found in his possession.
Webisa has been presented before the Kampala City Hall court Grade one magsitrate Nicholas Aisu for formal reading of the charges .
The magistrate has barred Webisa from pleading to the capital offenses which are triable by the Highcourt.
He has been remanded to Luzira prison until the 3rd March as police inquiries continue.
