Fresh Kid Secures High School Scholarship
Former youth and children’s minister Hon Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi has announced a high school scholarship offer for young hippop artiste Patrick Senyonjo commonly known as Fresh Kid
According to a press statement dated 28th,January,2028, Nakiwala said that the youngster will be studying his high school at Hana International School and believes the achievement will help him get quality education
“ Unlike other schools,Hana International school offers a Cambridge curriculum. Our goal is to help him get international education with access to the local fanbase,which he has gathered because of his music career,” she said
She said the process of getting the scholarship was done with the help of the school proprietor Hajji Hamis Kiggundu and his publicity secretary Ahmed Bogere Masembe
“ As a leading advocate for children’s rights in Uganda, I view Patrick’s success as part of a larger
narrative, a template for what can be achieved when we prioritize education and support our youth and children,” she said
She thanked Ruparelia Group,Uganda managers Mr. Sudhir Rupaleria, and Kampala Parent’s School management for offering a primary school scholarship for Fresh kid from Primary two to Primary Seven
Fresh Kid got 7 aggregates in his Primary Leaving Examinations but wasn’t sure where he would go for his secondary education
The minister added that empowering children like fresh kid is a sign that children need to be supported to access education rather than exploiting them through child labor
