Enovy’s Wife Charged with Murder of Couples Two Year old Son, Remanded

The wife to Chirs Rugari, Honorary Consul of Zimbabwe in Uganda has been sent on remand at Luzira prison for the murder of his 2 year old baby boy.

The couple is undergoing a nasty divorce proceeding. 

40 year old Kanoheri Jolin Rugari wife to Chirs Rugari is Jointly charged with her  24 year old house- help Nabanjja Robinah for the murder of 2 year old Nganwa Rugari. 

Prosecution states that between the 1st and 2nd April / 2025 at Mutungo Zone eight , in Nakawa division with malice afore thought, Kanoheri killed Nganwa. 

Nabanjja is charged with being an accessory after the commission of murder. 

Investigations so far states that Kanoheri had concealed Nganwa’s death as an accidental fall through a widow on top of the family’s storyed house.

Koneheri has not been allowed to plead to the grave offence of murder which is triabe by the Highcourt.

The two have appeared before Nakawa Grade One magistrate Frank Namanya where state prosecutor Mahatma Odongo has reported of incomplete investigations. 

The duo has been now sent on remand to Luzira prison till 6th/ May.
