Doctor Joshua Baraka? Breakout Star had Dreams of Studying Medicine before Dropping Out

Artiste Joshua Baraka says he doesn’t regret choosing music over his education career because his choice has started reaping financial results .

In a recent Television interview, Baraka said he wanted to do Physics Chemistry and Biology(PCB) at Mengo Senior Secondary School and pursue a medical course at the University but he had to put his education on hold because he was struggling with school fees, a situation that forced him to pursue his music career as an option.

“ Some people think that I come from a rich family but the truth is that I was struggling to pay school fees at Mengo SS and its the reason why I couldn’t go a head with pursuing a medical course at the University,” he said

He however said that he still has the love for education and when he gets time to study, he will go back and study but is likely to study something that he loves with a passion.

“ Taking a break from school has given me time to discover myself and if I want to study, i will study courses that are in line with what am doing currently because its hard to do sciences while you are doing music as business,” he said.

He revealed that the passion, hard work and the love for music is the reason why he has broken through the music industry and believes he will do more wonders if he continues recording music with different artists and producers.

He stated that he is unbothered by those body shaming him noting that making an athletic body takes time and it is not his priority right now.

“ When the right time comes, I will hit the gym and start working out but its not my priority right now because am busy doing other important things,” he added.
