Chameleone Reunites with Son Abba amid Speculation over their Relationship

Renowned Ugandan musician Joseph Mayanja, popularly known as Chameleone, has been reunited with his son, Abba Marcus, following weeks of public speculation about their strained relationship.

The reunion comes after Chameleone, was flown to the United States last month for treatment related to pancreatitis. 

Their interaction was captured in a video circulating on social media, showing Abba assisting his father at a hospital in the U.S.

They were also photographed alongside Chameleone’s brother, Douglas Mayanja (Weasel), and one of his managers.

The father-son relationship faced public scrutiny last month when Abba openly criticized Chameleone’s lifestyle, linking it to the musician’s health challenges.

Abba revealed his father’s struggles with substance use and called for public support.

“This isn’t a call to justify substance dependence, but a plea for help. We need to come together if we want to keep him in our family,” Abba stated in a heartfelt message.

Despite earlier speculation of a rift within the family, the recent developments suggest healing and unity, with Abba stepping up to support his father during his recovery.
