At a recent weekly press briefing held at the NEED headquarters in Lubaga, Kampala, the party spokesperson, Moses Matovu, lauded President Ruto for his unwavering commitment to combating corruption. Matovu emphasized that such a drastic measure demonstrates a strong resolve to address the scourge that has hindered Kenya’s development for decades.
He urged Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) in the Bunyoro sub-region to desist from presiding over unlawful land evictions. Tayebwa’s address highlighted the critical need to adhere to presidential directives and ensure the protection of residents’ rights against illegal land grabbing.
