Bryan White Remanded on Multiple Charges including Human Sacrifice

Socialite and businessman Brian Kirumira, popularly known as Bryan White, has been charged and remanded to Luzira  by  the Makindye chief magistrates court  over  multiple offences that include human sacrifice, manslaughter, conspiracy to commit a felony, and possession of narcotic drugs.

Prosecution alleges  that  38-year-old Bryn White , a resident of Kyamula Zone in Munyonyo, Makindye Division, killed  a one Nalubwama Carol on October 22, 2025 for purposes of performing  witchcraft or ritual practices which is  contrary to the Prevention and Prohibition of Human Sacrifice Act.

White was brought to court in a police ambulance while lying on a stretcher and taken straight before Grade One magistrate Sarah Basemera who read charges to him in a session closed to the press.

Later the press learnt that White was cleared by Mild-may hospital to stand trial .

In the second count, prosecution alleges that between October 22nd and 27th, 2025, Bryan White unlawfully caused the death of Nalubwama by burning, an act classified as manslaughte .

He also faces an additional charge of doing a rash and neglect act by allegedly failing to take precautions against probable danger from combustible/ burning  materials in his possession at his residence in Kyamula.

The charge sheet further indicates that on October 27, 2025, Kirumira was found in possession of marijuana leaves and seeds stored in bottles — a violation of the Narcotic and Psychotropic Substances (Control) Act, 2023.

White now joins  his co-accused including his wife Nalunga Daisy and two  other  women, Abaho Daphine, and Nakato Naava  whom he allegedly conspiracy with  to commit the  ritual murder of Nalubwama by setting fire to candle wax in a room while massaging the victim’s body with petrol and ghee.

Now the group of five has been remanded to Luzira prison until 18th December when they will take plea before the chief magistrate.
