Uganda’s first direct-to-consumer audio and wearables brand, BLACK, is opening a new outlet at Acacia Mall in Kampala on Saturday, June 14, 2025. The store is located on the first floor of the mall, opposite LC Waikiki and Optica, and will open its doors to customers starting at 10:00 AM.
The new outlet will offer a range of electronic accessories including earbuds, smartwatches, Bluetooth speakers, power banks, and charging cables. All products come with a one-year warranty.
BLACK officials say the store will allow customers to explore and try out products before purchase. Some of the items on display include earbuds with extended battery life, smartwatches with health-tracking features, and Bluetooth speakers.
Saturday’s opening will include product demonstrations, as well as giveaways and discounts for customers visiting the store. The company says it hopes the outlet will create a space for customers to engage more directly with its technology.
Mourice Aliganyira, Head of Marketing and Brand, said the outlet is part of a broader effort to connect with Uganda’s youth and introduce locally available tech options.
