Swangz Avenue singer Zawedde Priscilla aka Azawi has spoken out on reasons why she spent sh.24 million on dental surgeries.
During a recent YouTube Interview, Azawi said that she spent the money because she broke some of her teeth during a childhood accident that left most of her teeth cracked.
She said that when she got an opportunity of becoming a recording artiste, she had to spend a lot of money on fixing them.
“ I have 12 Veneers that were fixed by a Kampala based dental clinic and all the procedures cost around sh.24 million. I feel fine now as I can comfortably smile as am talking like you see me now,” she said.
“I also did two root canal treatments that cost sh. 800,000 each making a total of sh. 1.600.000,” she added.
Asked if the procedures are temporary or permanent, Azawi said that her procedures are permanent and will last for 40 years before replacing them.
“ The price is determined by how long the veneers will work for you and my artificial teeth will be there for many years; however I have to visit a dentist regularly to advise me on how to take care of them. The care requires regular cleaning using a different tooth brush and tooth paste from the one’s people use daily in their homes,” she revealed.
