88.2 SANYU FM PRESENTS “SANYU FM ON THE GO”
Kampala Uganda, as the year comes to a close, 88.2 Sanyu FM seeks to extend its service to the community under a Brand New Initiative called SANYU FM ON THE GO. This initiative is Sanyu FM’s way of touching the lives of the listeners in the form of events, sponsorships, partnerships, advertising, and corporate social responsibility.
The festive season begins today on 1st December 2020 which also happens to be WORLD AIDS DAY and in this spirit of togetherness, Sanyu FM shall host a Charity Event under its new initiative and kick start a season of giving back the people.
Leading this initiative is Sanyu FM’s new General Manager, Christopher Ireland and the new Head of programming, Rodger Mugisha.
Sanyu FM has selected UCARE International as this year’s benefactor. UCARE International is a nonprofit, charitable organization in Luzira Kampala, Uganda that provides housing, food, clothing, medical care, and education to 120 children 3- 15 years old. All of the children are orphans, primarily as a result of HIV/AIDS and conditions of extreme poverty. The charity event will be held at UCARE international which will see a few Festive Messages from the lead team at Sanyu FM as well as a word from its distinguished on-air partners present. Sanyu FM will extend its support towards the welfare of the children under the love and care of UCARE International.
“Sanyu FM wishes to restore joy and Happiness after what has been a tough year for many. This strong Love for our Community drives us in our Daily programming with our On-Air shows and with the Festive season fast approaching; Sanyu FM would love to give back to the community in a heart-warming way. We wish to continue the vision of the Ruparelia which is to create a positive and transformative change in the community, on a simple belief that we can achieve a lot when we work together.” Chris Ireland, Station’s New Manger.
As the world begins to pick up the pieces and rebuild a stronger future amidst the COVID 19 pandemic, the Children under UCARE International, need all the love, compassion and support necessary to continue their own development in their formative years. Sanyu FM is therefore proud to be a part of this journey for the children and being able to extend some Joy and Hope to them.
