Kampala’s Cricket Oval Lugogo is gearing up for the 7th Edition of Oktoberfest on October 28th, and it’s coming back with a “Drunch” twist.
After a hiatus, the annual Oktoberfest is returning, and it’s promising to be bigger and better than ever before, thanks to a tantalizing new addition – the Drunch edition. But what exactly is Drunch? Dennis Asiimwe, the festival organizer, enlightened us at the launch event held at The Villa in Bukoto. “Drunch simply means a blend of lunch and drinks,” he explained, and it’s all about music and entertainment.

This year’s Oktoberfest is set to be a musical extravaganza with an impressive lineup of artists. The legendary Jose Chameleone, the sensational Cindy Sanyu, and the lively Abeeka band will take the stage. But that’s not all; the festival will also showcase fresh talent with performances by Kohen Jaycee, Izabel Ug, Ras B Ssali, Dolv Gvng, and Chevank Badcitizen.
