Uganda Airlines has launched twin flights to Lusaka, Zambia, and Harare, Zimbabwe, expanding its network to 16 destinations across 10 countries.
The new routes will operate four times a week, enhancing connectivity in the region.
Launching the maiden flight at Entebbe International Airport this morning, Minister of Finance Matia Kasaija emphasized the importance of unity among African nations to foster development.
He noted that these new flights will bolster tourism and economic ties among Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, promoting collaborative growth within the continent.
The chairperson board of directors at Uganda airlines Priscilla Mirembe Serukka says that the newly launched flights to Lusaka, Zambia, and Harare, Zimbabwe, will significantly enhance connectivity and reduce travel time to these destinations.
She encouraged Zambian and Zimbabwean nationals to take advantage of these routes to visit Uganda for business opportunities.
