KCCA Ed Kisaka Was Sleeping On The Job – Minister

The minister of state for Kampala Kabuye kyofatogabye has ordered vendors operating in all taxi parks in Kampala to vacate or face forceful eviction.

His warning follows the public concern about the vendors of items like tomatoes, apples, bread, roasted G-nuts, and cooked food that have flooded the taxi parks in kampala , especially the old taxi park unhindered.

It’s observed that the vendors have taken over the spots reserved for passengers while they wait for taxis.

Kyofatogabye said that this situation could have been caused by the former executive director’s laxity, he accused the former Executive director Dorothy Kisaka of sleeping on the job.

“The unfortunate this is that we had a sleeping ED who couldn’t listen and understand what should be done, now that this has come to my notes we are going to go back and work on it.”

He said that  he would direct the Acting KCCA executive Director Frank Rusa Nyakaana to evict all vendors operating in taxi parks illegally within one week.

He appealed to vendors to return to the gazette marketplaces before are chased away.
