That a subsequent call from Amanyiire delivered the devastating news of Katanga’s death, with no explanation provided from  Amanyiire who said he was  Washing the car in the compound that morning .

Nyangwesho revealed in her testimony  that Katanga had previously confided in her about Molly’s suspicious activities, including trailing his vehicle, tapping his phones, and involvement with a dangerous gang which  threats prompted Katanga to abandon his usual vehicle, acquire a new SIM card, and entrust Nyangwesho with a safe containing vital documents, such as land titles and business records.

Nyangwesho has further  testfied that the  day before his death, Katanga was scheduled to meet his lawyer to draft his Will.

Following Katanga’s alleged murder, the police arrested Molly Katanga, their two daughters, Martha and Patricia Kakwanzi, George Amanyire, and nursing officer Charles Otai on charges of murder, evidence destruction, and accessory to murder.

After the conclusion of her emotional testimony, the defence lawyers applied to court to have the list of documents contained in the safe that Katanga gave his sister before she is cross-examined .
