Radio - one half of Radio & Weasel involved in scuffle with Traffic Police for driving under the influence
Moses Ssekibogo- alias Mowzey Radio, also one half of Radio & Weasel, was allegedly involved in what appears to be a scuffle with a Uganda Police Traffic Officer over the weekend. While details surrounding what exactly happened are still scanty, local television channel Spark Television claims that he was involved in a traffic offense.
Some other local blogs have it that Radio was pulled over for a field sobriety test, only for him to go over the legal limit on the breathalyzer that a traffic officer administered. The traffic officer attempted to have him apprehended as it's illegal to drive while under the influence, but that the singer took umbrage with the way he was being treated by law enforcement officials.
It is also claimed that it's Radio's displeasure at the how he was being treated that sparked off what is commonplace with law enforcement officials and alleged suspects; being held up by one's pants with a lot of force, minus handuffs which are designed to subdue anyone they're slapped on.
In the amateur video clip embedded below, one can see someone of Radio's likeness tussling it out with a Traffic Officer, and that this goes on for quite a while until the gathering mob comes to the singer's aid and they also castigate the officer for how brutal his arresting procedure seems to be.
We'll bring you more information on this as the story develops.
