POLICE CHIEF OKOTH OCHOLA APPEARS BEFORE LAND PROBE COMMISSION
The Inspector General of Police Martin Okoth Ochola has appeared before the Commission of Inquiry into Land matters.
The IGP however appeared in Camera and held a one hour interaction with the Commission Team Chaired by Justice Catherine Bamugemereire.
According to the Commission's Lead Counsel Ebert Byenkya the IGP who was in company of several Senior Police Officers including the Director CID, Grace Akullo was summoned to the Commission to engage him on a number of issues pertaining the involvement of his officers in Land matters.
The Commission also wanted to update the IGP on its one year experience in investigating land matters since May last year and see how he can assist the Commission achieve its objectives, among others.
