Judicial Officers have further extended the suspension of their industrial action to February 2018

The decision was made during an extra ordinary meeting of all judicial officers today, upon expiry of the deadline they had given government to address their demands for better pay and working conditions.

The judicial officers have resolved not to take any further action until the 12th of February 2018, on grounds that negotiations with government are now in advanced stages.

The judges in September voted to have their strike suspended indefinitely, until today 11th December pending government’s response to their salary demands.
